About US Material Mutt was established in 2004 as a provider of "Fabulous Fashions & Finds For Your Four Legged Friends." Business Partners Kimberly Brumfield & Debra McDonald together have been in the pet industry for over twenty years.
We understand that there is an unbelievable bond between pets and their owners. We had a desire to cater to a clientel that thinks of their pets as members of their own family. Pets provide us with unconditional love, what better way to give back to them than through designer gifts and tail waggin good treats.
Our belief and hope is to provide our customers with uniquely original designs of the highest quality. We strive to deliver a personal touch through friendly customer service. We believe a business can only measure its' true success by the satisfaction of its' customers!
We would like to introduce you to a few of our staff members who were the true inspiration for our creation of Material Mutt. They like to think they are the true brain power behind the operation:
MITZI
Mitzi is our lil retired street walker - we took her in after she had been unclaimed wandering in a neighborhood. She was pregnant and had heartworms, but she melted our hearts right away. She is now spoiled and sassy and is president of our Mitzis Gitzis department.
 DEWEY
Dewey is our lil trashy treasure. He was literally thrown away in the garbage as a pup during Hurricane Katrina. But Dewey did not let his humble beginnings hold him back, he is now chief security officer and our premier prancing catwalk model.
 TSUNAMI
Tsunami is our large (he prefers muscular) tidle wave of a puuuuurfect kitty. He was rescued after he was literally thrown in the middle of a busy road from a moving vehicle. Our counter is now his preferred catwalk and he graciously tests all our beds to ensure their comfort.
